A New Addition to the Family

You thought I was going to say that I’m pregnant, didn’t you? Well, instead I’m going to tell you about our new cat. Oh great, you’re thinking, just what I wanted to read about today. Claire’s new cat. Well, this is what you get.

His name is Foster.

He’s about 7 months old and he’s a total mutt. We adopted him from a woman who rescues cats from kill shelters and over the last couple of weeks we’ve really fallen in love with him. He’s seriously the sweetest cat I’ve ever met and the best part is that he’s unbelievably affectionate and patient with Vera.

He never shies away from her.

He lets her dress him up and put toys on him.

And the best part? He even lets her carry him around.
