Weekly Photo (17 Months)

Before I was a parent I always found it incredibly annoying and pretentious when someone would tell me their child's age in months. Now that I'm a mom I get it, but I'm still excited that Veronica is at an age where I can just kind of round up and say "a year and a half" when people ask.

Anyway, here she is in all her 17 month glory. She's wearing a really adorable outfit that some friends of my parents sent all the way from Switzerland last year. I still remember the day the package arrived last summer. Vera was only 3 or 4 months old at the time I remember thinking that it seemed impossible that she would ever fit into it.

Oh, she is SO adorable! And that outfit is great. She and Mr Monkey have a lot of fun with one another these days, it seems.

No wonder he’s still so clean :-) And, who would have thought a year ago that he would be riding on her shoulders!

Hes actually not *that* clean. Take a look at his feet. :)
